  Anna Sui
International designer Anna Sui has always had a passion for fashion design, dressing up her neighbor's toy soldiers since she was a child. She studied at Parson's School of Design in New York, winning a scholarship at age 17; it's also where she met her photographer and stylist Steven Meisel. In 1991 she paid Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista in clothing to model for her first runway show. In 1995 she opened her first boutique in New York City and a second one in 1998 in Los Angeles. In 1999 she launched her popular cosmetics and fragrance line.
